Professional Associations: Debbie is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida. Her professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE - membership at both the international and local chapter levels), and the Financial Executives International (FEI). Debbie also serves both on the Board and as the Membership Chair for the Central Florida chapter of the Financial Executives International (this chapter has in excess of 100 members). She served on the 2005 National Awards Committee for the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and serves as the Vice President for the Central Florida ACFE chapter.

Teaching: Debbie serves as a facilitator for the University of Phoenix Online in the College of Graduate Business and Management. She currently teaches the graduate courses of “Accounting for Managerial Decision Making” “Accounting Theory,” “Advanced Cost Accounting,” and “MBA/ACC Capstone Course.” She has been approved to teach “Advanced Corporate Income Tax,” and “Introduction to Finance and Accounting.” Since she teaches in the online environment, her students are not only located within the United States, but also within various countries around the world.

Seminars and Training: : Debbie provides seminars on business and finance for the community and on-site custom training. She has provided programs for organizations such as the Orange County Bar Association, Jacksonville Bar Associations, Winter Park Leadership/Chamber of Commerce, and Institute of Internal Auditors - East Coast Chapter in Brevard County, Florida. Debbie is scheduled to provide the program "Internal Controls" in eighteen locations nationally in 2005 and 2006 for Lorman Education Services..

Community Involvement: Debbie is a member of the FICPA’s Fraud Task Force. She also is a member of the Board for the Friends of the Library (Orange County Library System), Quest, Inc., and as a member of the Accounting Advisory Board at Florida Metropolitan University. She has previously served as a Crown Ministry leader and as a Crown Ministry church coordinator.
